Day 01
AIRPORT PICK-UP / WELCOME TO SRI LANKA

AYUBOWAN-! Welcome to Sri Lanka, one of the leading romantic destinations in the whole world. Upon arrival at Colombo CMB Airport, you will meet your tour leader and then you will be transferred to your hotel. The first destination will be Bentota coastal town, which has long been known as the most popular beach in Sri Lanka, famous for its golden sandy beach, food and entertainments. For day one, we haven’t planned any activity, thus you are free to arrive in Sri Lanka at any time. If your flight arrives early in the day, relax on the beach and pool of your cosy hotel. Evening, you may have a walk along the seashore while enjoying the beautiful sunset and the pleasant evening atmosphere of the beachside. Note: we can be flexible with your daily tour program, hence don't hesitate to discuss with your tour guide and plan the days as per your preferences. Overnight stay in a seafront hotel – Bentota.


Day 02
GALLE FORT / RIVER SAFARI

After enjoying a delicious breakfast with a hot cup of Sri Lankan tea or a coffee, your tour leader will drive you along the southwest coast towards Galle, a city well known for its Fort (UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE). It is the intersection where classic Dutch and British architecture meets a tropical setting, creating a vivid atmosphere in beauty. Walk through the streets listening to the creaks of wooden saloon doors and observe how European architecture mingles with South Asian traditions nowadays flooding cultural enthusiasts on a global scale. Historical Galle Lighthouse stands proudly on the southeast tip of the fort. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a Madu river boat tour, which offers several memorable experiences such as Madu River fish therapy. Thereafter, you’ll visit a turtle hatchery center where baby turtles learn to take their first swim and injured adults are rehabilitated back into the wild. Both locals and international volunteers are battling for the protection of sea turtles since they are endangered creatures. Overnight stay in a beach resort - Bentota.

Day 03
KANDY CITY WALK

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will take a journey across the stunning Sri Lankan countryside towards Kandy city, which is the central point of the cultural triangle in the island. En-route, you may also visit the Millenium Elephant Rehabilitation Center, originally created in order to protect and look after the wild elephants found wandering in and around the forests of Sri Lanka. It is always a pleasant experience to give them a bath at the nearby river. Thereafter, proceed to Kandy, the capital of the last Sinhalese Kingdom. It's set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and bio diverse rainforests. Kandy is also famous for its sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth Relic (UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE).Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 04
BOTANICAL GARDEN / CULTURAL SHOW

After breakfast, visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden, one of the best botanical gardens in Asia. It attracts 2 million visitors annually and it is renowned for its collection of orchids. The garden includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres. In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy a walk around Kandy's busy city centre, including a tour of the Central Market, before engaging with a cultural dance show which is inspired by Sri Lankan arts, traditional dance and cultural heritage. Day 05
TEA FACTORY AND PLANTATION VISIT

Today, you will visit a tea plantation. Sri Lanka, tea and tourism are words which cannot be separated. Explore the cold and misty hills that host lush green blankets of tea plantations. You also have the opportunity to visit a tea factory processing the prestigious brand of Ceylon Tea, to observe a rich tradition kept alive up to date. Make sure to end your factory visit in style over a perfectly blended cup of tea. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 06
DAMBULLA CAVE TEMPLE / VILLAGE TOUR

After breakfast at the hotel, you will take a wonderful journey across the stunning Sri Lankan countryside towards Dambulla cave temple. It has the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. It has been treasured by many kings since the 1st century B.C. The rock towers 160 meters over the surrounding plains and houses 5 cave temples with some of the most unique and significant historical drawings. Thereafter, you'll enjoy a wonderful cultural village tour while exploring the beautiful countryside. It will start with a Bullock Cart ride, one of the most ancient and prime transportation systems in Sri Lanka, still used in some villages. While on the tour you will have a canoeing ride across the lake and finally you will reach a farmer’s house where you will experience the typical Sri Lankan countryside hospitality. Day 07
SIGIRIYA ROCK FORTRESS

In the morning, if you are up to it, you could enjoy an amazing hot-air balloon tour around the beautiful Sigiriya area (seasonal-it has to be pre-booked). Later on, you may visit the famous Sigiriya Lion Rock, an ancient rock fortress located near the town of Dambulla. King Kasyapa (477 – 495 BC) built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colourful frescoes. Sigiriya today is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE and it is one of the best-preserved examples of an ancient civilization. Sigiriya refuses to reveal its secrets easily; in fact, you have to climb a series of vertiginous staircases to reach the top. On the way up, you’ll pass quite remarkable frescoes and a pair of colossal lion paws carved into the bedrock. Overnight stay in a nature-friendly resort - Dambulla.

Day 08
WILDLIFE SAFARI / PIDURANGALA ROCK HIKE

Early in the morning, if you are up to it, you could enjoy Pidurangala rock hike. Afternoon, your tour leader will take you to Minneriya/Kaudulla National Park for a jeep safari, since it is the best time to spot wild elephants on their natural habitat. If you're up for a serious rumble in the jungle, then Minneriya/Kaudulla is your ideal destination! Spreading over 8800 hectares, this park is mainly a sanctuary for elephants, but it is also home to herds of deer, bulls, wild boars and colorful birdlife. It is always a pleasure to watch baby elephants playing with water by the main lake of the park. This place is well known as the largest elephant gathering place in the world. Day 09-12
EAST COAST / BEACH RELAX

After breakfast, depart from Dambulla towards Passikudha, a delightful sandy beach that was a well-kept secret in the past, but now few restaurants and pubs are opening up to visitors. Passikudh is also characterized by white sands and coconut palms growing right from the edge of the sea as if in imitation of a postcard of the perfect tropical beach. If you are looking to spend a relaxing time and to give yourself a calm and natural treat, this is the ideal place for you. There is plenty of space for everyone to settle in perfectly and to enjoy a sunbath to the fullest. Upon arrival at your hotel, you could grab a towel to relax on the beach while enjoying a cocktail or a chill beer under the shade of a palm tree. There are many water sports available in this location such as kite surfing, jet-skiing, night fishing, sailing, and so on. Overnight stay in a beach resort - Passikudha.

Day 13
COLOMBO CITY TOUR

After breakfast, you’ll visit the capital city of Colombo, which has an interesting history running back to the fifth century. Even in ancient times, this was an important port city in the East-West sea trade. Nowadays it has become a bustling modern town with a unique atmosphere. The colourful streets, restaurants and modern shopping malls attract hordes of locals and tourists alike. In Colombo, you have the opportunity to visit the most highlighted places in the city and also do some last-minute shopping as well. Perhaps, you may pop into a famous and internationally renowned restaurant in Colombo to end your trip over an unforgettable meal. Overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 14
COLOMBO HIGHLIGHTS / AIRPORT DROP-OFF

This morning, you will take an optional city tour, before proceeding to the airport in time for your flight to end this wonderful tour in the island of Sri Lanka.

A professional tour leader tasked with ensuring the smooth operations of the tour, as well as providing practical support to passengers throughout the entire trip. His role primarily includes assisting with accommodation and transportation between locations while sharing the knowledge about social and cultural splendor of Sri Lanka. Our customer support team will be there to provide 24/7 support during & after your trip, as well as help with all of your onward travel.


Meals:

Daily breakfasts, 11 dinners and 1 lunch are included in the tour. For all other meals, the tour leader will offer assistance with reservations, suggestions and directions to local restaurants. This tour offers Jain, Vegetarian, Vegan and Halal food options on request. Simply let our customer support team know the food option that you prefer.

Flight:

International transfer flights are not included. Thus, you can organize the flights separately with your preferred airline at any point. We'll arrange free airport pick-up and drop-off on the first and the last day of the tour.

  • Step 6: Settle the balance payment on arrival at the airport, or the payment can be settled before arrival (payment method negotiable)

Payment Details:

Our easy payment plan! Just confirm the tour with USD 100 deposit and then settle the balance payment only 15 days prior to the arrival date (payment method negotiable).

Child Policy:

  • Children below 5 years are free of charge
  • 50% discount on tour price for children between 5 and 11, sharing a room with two adults.
  • 25% discount on tour price for one child between 12 and 16, sharing a room with two adults.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations received earlier than 16 days prior to the departure date are fully refundable.
  • Cancellations received 16 days or less prior to the departure date: 50% from the payment or postpone tour with travel credits.
  • Cancellations received 12 days or less prior to the beginning of the tour are non-refundable, but the tour can be postponed to a later date.

Important Note:

  • Most entrance and activity fees are paid in local currency. We suggest you keep some Sri Lankan rupees with you while on the tour. You can exchange money at the airport or the tour leader can assist you to exchange money at local banks.
  • Religious places have a strict protocol when it comes to clothes and people should cover themselves up. However, usually you can wear almost anything that goes with the warm climate.
  • In tropical countries the weather is always unpredictable, so it will be handy to bring a rain jacket.
  • Sun protection, mosquito repellent, sunglasses and a hat can be very useful during your tour.
  • The official check-in time at all hotels will be at 02:00 pm.
  • The official check-out time at all hotels will be at 11:00am.

Climate And Average Temperatures:

Sri Lanka is a year-around holiday destination with two monsoon seasons, so there is a lot of confusion about when it is the best time to visit. The weather doesn’t run like clockwork here! The temperature is constantly around 27°C on the coast, while on the hill side it always stays below 20°C.
